When Chinese artist Wen Fuliang was laid off his job as a wood carver he used his carving skills to a very different end. He started transforming chicken, goose, and duck eggshells into incredible works of art that he could sell. Incredible in both beauty and how fragile they are. The process is incredibly time-consuming and requires Fuliang to gently secure the eggshell in one hand while skilfully carving with the other.

He first sketches a design onto the shell, which has been carefully emptied of the yolk and egg white with a syringe.
